How to find us

We’re at the Pin at the top of Calverley Grounds in the centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells in the map below (often mistakenly called Calverley Park which is the nearest private road). The best postcode to use is TN1 2LU (for the A264/Crescent Road car park).

Parking

We don’t have our own car park, but we’re about 5 minutes from the buses, station (BLUE circle in the map, London to Hastings line) and public car parks.

Don’t bother to bring cash as it’s cashless parking – use the Ringo app with location number 28507 or credit card.

Leave by the vehicle entrance to Crescent Road. Immediately cross the road and the entrance to the Catholic Church should be visible to your right. A few yards before this on your left you will see a stone archway. Pass through the arch; the entrance to Calverley Grounds is to your right via a footpath just before the (gated) entrance to Calverley Park. Follow the footpath for 30 yards, turning left onto a path which passes to the left of a basketball court. Our Club House is straight ahead.

The Crescent Road Car Park can get very full – an alternative car park almost as close to the Club is at the Great Hall (between the station and Calverley Grounds).

Tunbridge Wells Council details on all car parks can be seen here.

Sunday Parking – Free

Single yellow lines and parking bays on ALL roads, except Monson Road and including residents parking are currently free; but please check the signs. Crescent Road and adjacent roads are mostly double-yellow lines and their parking spaces are often full anyway, but you could try the roads in PINK.

The MOST LIKELY PLACES with spaces are on the opposite side of the park from the club, off Grove Hill Road in BLUE – try Mountfield Gardens first. There are pedestrian entrances into our park in both Mountfield Road and Mountfield Gardens.

You can always park in the Car Parks, but they do charge…

Evening Parking

Car parks make a £2 charge from 6pm. Yellow lines etc. are as on Sundays above, except that they are free of charge from 5pm. This does not apply to marked parking bays, which (see signs) are usually restricted to 8pm.

Refreshments

We have limited refreshments in the Club House, but there is a cafe in our park and in the town a wide variety of cafes, restaurants and shops, many of which are open on Sundays (including M&S) on the other side of the Crescent Road car park from the club (about 5 minutes from the Club in Calverley Road).
